This is a game term for mana that is used in Elemental Magic. Only a few Jobs use EP to power Skills or Magic. These jobs include Elementalist, Magic Swordsman, and Sun Knight. In order to store EP a person must unlock an Elemental Pool.[1]
Even though it is impossible to store EP without an elemental pool, EP can be used immediatly when generated.[2]
